It was almost 80 here in Tulsa today, we are having a 5 day run of nice weather and tomorrow will be a down hill spiral to 39 on Sunday. I haven't been out on the bike since my accident other than just around the block so I took the afternoon off from work and went west to Bristow, OK. on old 66. It was pretty windy as it gets sometimes here in the great state of OK. You know the song where the "wind goes whistling across the plain" or something to that affect, never was much in to musicals.

It felt good to be back on the saddle since so many people at work and others have been asking "so are you going to give up motorcyling now?" I was just going to try and put on 50-60 miles on to see how it went with my not quite healed broken arm. I did about 80 miles. I was also breaking in a new helmet and a newly repaired bike. The Bird purred with the new gutted pipes I got from Rachael, and I enjoyed myself.

I stopped at a Sonic in Bristow and had a cherry lime-aide and turned around and came home. Coming back, it was a lot nicer not bucking the wind. After a few hours on the bike I was ready to get off. My arm was throbbing. I'm not quite ready for a trip out to go on a long ride to AZ. or wherever yet, but come Spring I should be good to go.

Nice...You don't listen at times and wish you quick recovery! When you ride 66, there's always the westernTTrally in September, Laughlin.

Always good to hear ... a brother getting back on a bike after an incident. Good luck to you and I hope the recovery process continues in a positive manner and timeframe
